Maahi Lakhani is an Industrial Designer and the founder of PocketGluca. Living with type 1 diabetes since the age of 9, her perspective is shaped by everyday experience, not theory.

While working on her design thesis at 22, she identified a clear gap: the absence of a truly convenient, ready-to-use glucose solution that fit seamlessly into real life. That insight became the starting point for PocketGluca.

Maahi actively shares her journey with type 1 diabetes, fitness, and yoga online, using storytelling to build awareness and community. She has previously designed products for Indian brands such as P-Tal and is deeply committed to creating thoughtful, people-first brands from India.

PocketGluca brings together her lived experience, design thinking, and belief that good design can make everyday moments easier.
